SwingSpeed AI Terms of Use
Effective: October 15, 2026 · Revision effective: October 24, 2026 · Applies to www.breyes.net/swingspeed (the analysis lab, the 3D · shaft recognition check and live capture)
This English version is a translation provided for convenience. If it differs from the Korean version, the Korean version prevails.
SwingSpeed AI is a free web tool that uses AI to estimate your posture and club motion from a golf swing video. The video is analysed inside your browser; only numbers extracted from it are computed on the Operator’s server. Results are estimates and may differ from what measuring equipment reports.
Article 1 (Scope)
The BREYES Terms of Service apply to SwingSpeed AI (the “Service”); these terms add what applies to the Service only. Where the two differ, these terms take precedence. Personal data is covered by the SwingSpeed AI Privacy Policy.
Article 2 (What the Service does)
- The Service is free and needs no sign-up or login.
- It recognises body and hand joints and the club shaft and head in a video file you choose or in the camera picture of live capture, and from those numbers estimates the swing segment, a 3D pose and club head speed.
- Videos and camera pictures are processed inside your browser. Only numbers extracted from the video (joint and club coordinates, video dimensions, analysis settings) are sent to the Operator’s server to compute head speed and the 3D pose; the server returns the result and does not store that data.
- The Operator may change or suspend part or all of the Service for maintenance, outages or operational reasons, and will give notice in advance where possible.
Article 3 (Nature of the estimates)
- Head speed, 3D pose, shaft and head positions and the swing segment are values estimated from video by AI. They may differ from measurements by launch monitors, radar or other equipment, and from a professional’s judgement.
- Estimates depend on the recording conditions (camera angle and distance, frames per second, camera shake, lighting, wide-angle lens distortion, people or objects in the way) and on the values you enter (club length, camera direction, playback rate, reference points). The same swing in a different video can give a different result.
- The Service is not made to be the sole basis for decisions about buying equipment, lessons, training load, injuries or pain, and it is not medical or rehabilitation advice. Please consult measuring equipment and professionals for such decisions.
- For videos that are hard to recognise, the Service may show “unavailable” or an error instead of a number. The Operator does not guarantee a result for every video.
Article 4 (Your videos and your responsibility)
- The videos you choose or record, the analysis results derived from them and the files you export (JSON reports, 3D models) belong to, and are the responsibility of, you. The Operator claims no rights in them.
- A video that shows other people may only be used with their consent. When you analyse someone else’s work, such as a broadcast or a video from a video platform, you must check that you are permitted to use it, and the same applies when you publish the results.
- The Service must not be used to violate anyone’s portrait rights or privacy, or to analyse or keep videos that the law prohibits.
Article 5 (Live capture and the camera)
- The camera turns on only when you switch on live capture and allow camera access in your browser, and it turns off when you switch live capture off.
- The camera picture stays only briefly in device memory (roughly the last 20 seconds); when a swing is detected, that part is cut out and analysed. A cut clip is not saved on your device until you tap “Save as file”, and it disappears when the page is closed.
- During live capture the screen is kept awake, which uses more battery. Please record where other people will not be filmed.
Article 6 (Storage)
- Your analysis history (the last 20 entries), the last analysed video with its result, and your display and live-capture settings are stored only in your browser’s storage. They are not stored on the Operator’s server, so the Operator cannot recover them.
- Records may be lost when you clear the site data in your browser or when the browser frees storage because the device is short of space. Export results you need to keep with “Export report”.
- When the Service moves to a new version, results from the previous version remain visible, but you may have to analyse the video again to see it the new way.
Article 7 (User obligations)
In addition to Article 6 of the BREYES Terms of Service, the following are prohibited:
- sending excessive requests to the server by automated means;
- calling the Service’s computation server (API) from other programs, apps, websites or services, or providing its responses to other people or services, without the Operator’s prior written permission;
- disassembling or reverse-engineering the Service to extract its recognition or computation methods;
- presenting the Service’s screens, name or results in another service as if provided by the Operator.
Article 8 (Rights in the Service and no unauthorised redistribution)
- The rights in the Service’s software (web pages, scripts, recognition and computation settings, the server’s computation), its screen layout, and the name “SwingSpeed AI” and its icon belong to the Operator. Open-source software included in the Service is governed by the licences listed in Article 10.
- Without the Operator’s prior written permission, you may not:
- copy or modify all or part of the Service and distribute it, or offer it at another address;
- wrap the Service in a WebView, iframe or the like, or put it inside an app, and distribute it through app stores such as Google Play or the App Store or through any other channel;
- distribute or sell, for a fee or free of charge, an app, program or service that uses the Service or its computation server (API), or earn advertising or other revenue from one;
- release an app or service under the name “SwingSpeed AI” or a name, icon or screen likely to be confused with it.
- Apps released by the Operator and where to get them are announced at www.breyes.net. An app not announced there was not made or authorised by the Operator.
- If Article 7 or this article is violated, the Operator may block the access and requests concerned without notice, ask app stores and other distributors to remove the app or service, and claim damages under the applicable laws.
- You are free to introduce or share the Service’s address as a link. For partnership or permission enquiries, contact contact@breyes.net.
Article 9 (Warranty and liability)
- The Service is provided as is. Depending on your device, browser and operating system, some features (video formats and software decoding, camera selection, analysis speed, 3D display and so on) may behave differently or be unavailable.
- Unless caused by its own intent or negligence, the Operator is not liable for decisions made in reliance on the estimates, for the loss of records stored in your browser, or for damage caused by suspension or changes of the Service. The Operator is liable under the applicable laws for damage caused by its own intent or negligence.
Article 10 (Third-party software and trademarks)
- The Service includes open-source software: MediaPipe Tasks for pose and hand recognition (Google LLC, Apache License 2.0), three.js for 3D display (MIT License) and mp4box.js for MP4 handling (BSD 3-Clause License). The terms of those licences take precedence over these terms.
- Club specifications shown for reference are based on data published by each manufacturer; club names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. The Operator is not affiliated with or endorsed by those manufacturers.
Supplementary provision
These terms take effect on October 15, 2026. The revision of October 17, 2026 (Article 7 extended, Article 8 on unauthorised redistribution added, later articles renumbered) takes effect on October 24, 2026. When they change, the changes and their effective date will be posted on this page 7 days in advance (30 days for changes unfavourable to users). Contact: contact@breyes.net
