SwingSpeed AI Privacy Policy

Effective: October 15, 2026 · Applies to www.breyes.net/swingspeed (the analysis lab, the 3D · shaft recognition check and live capture)

This English version is a translation provided for convenience. If it differs from the Korean version, the Korean version prevails.

SwingSpeed AI analyses golf swing videos inside your browser. Videos, photos and camera pictures are never sent to the Operator’s server. The server receives only numbers extracted from the video (joint and club coordinates), computes head speed and the 3D pose, returns the result and does not store that data. There is no sign-up or login, and no cookies, advertising, analytics or tracking tools.

Under the Korean Personal Information Protection Act, BREYES (the “Operator”) explains in this policy what information SwingSpeed AI (the “Service”) processes, why, for how long and where. Anything not covered here follows the BREYES Privacy Policy.

1. Information handled only inside your browser

The following is read and processed on your device and is not transmitted to the Operator. The Operator does not hold it.

InformationWhenWhere it stays
The video file you chooseWhen you load a videoIn memory during analysis. One copy of the last analysed video (per camera direction) stays in the browser’s IndexedDB so you can continue next time
Camera picture (live capture)Only when you switch on live capture and allow camera accessOnly the last ~20 seconds, in memory. When a swing is detected, that part is cut into a clip; clips also stay in memory only and disappear when the page is closed. Only a clip for which you tap “Save as file” is saved to your browser’s download location
Analysis results (joint and club coordinates, swing segment, 3D pose, head speed report)When an analysis finishesThe last result in IndexedDB; the history (last 20 entries: file name, time, head speed, settings) in localStorage
Settings (club length, camera direction, playback rate, view, language, live-capture camera, quality, stick mode and stabilisation)When you change themlocalStorage
Exported files (JSON report, GLB 3D model)When you press “Export report” or “Save 3D pose”Your browser’s download location

Body and hand joints are recognised inside your browser by the MediaPipe pose and hand models. Downloading those model files is described in section 3.

2. Information sent to the Operator’s server

Items sentPer frame: the time within the video, 2D and 3D body joint coordinates (raw and corrected), hand joint coordinates, wrist motion, the recognised club shaft and head positions, the name of the pose model used, which hand holds the club. Per video: width and height, camera direction (face-on or rear), analysis settings (club length, playback rate, address check), reference points you marked on the screen
Not sentVideos, photos or camera pictures; the video file name; names, contact details, accounts or anything else that identifies you directly
PurposeDetermining the swing segment, fitting the 3D pose and computing club head speed (this computation runs only on the server)
Kept forThe server computes in memory, returns the result and releases the data at once. Nothing is written to files, databases or logs. If a computation fails, only the kind of error is logged, not the data sent
TransmissionCompressed and encrypted over HTTPS, about 0.2–1.2 MB per video

Joint coordinates describe a person’s body movement as numbers. They contain no name or face, but the Operator treats them like personal data, does not store them and does not use them for any other purpose.

Web server access log

ItemsDate and time, IP address, requested address, information your browser sends (browser and OS type, previous page address, language)
PurposeResponding to security incidents, blocking excessive requests, visit statistics (statistics use an irreversibly converted value and an approximate region instead of the IP address)
Kept forUp to 3 months (Protection of Communications Secrets Act), then deleted automatically

No video or analysis values are sent. These transfers are processing entrusted as needed to provide the Service you requested, disclosed under Article 28-8 of the Personal Information Protection Act. All of them use encrypted connections (HTTPS).

ItemsIP address, browser information, address of the requested model file
WhenWhen you start a video analysis or live capture and the browser fetches the MediaPipe pose and hand model files from storage.googleapis.com
Purpose and retentionDelivering the model files that recognise pose and hands inside your browser. Retained according to Google’s policies
How to refuse, and the effectDo not use the Service, or block storage.googleapis.com in your browser. When blocked, videos cannot be analysed.
