Localcut Terms of Use
Effective October 9, 2026 · Apply to the web version at www.breyes.net/localcut and the Android app Localcut
Article 1 (Scope)
Your use of Localcut is governed by the BREYES Terms of Service; these terms add provisions specific to Localcut. Where the two differ, these terms prevail. Personal information is handled under the Localcut Privacy Policy.
Article 2 (The service)
Localcut is free and is used without sign-up or login. Editing and exporting take place on your device, and we cannot receive or view your videos, music or projects.
Article 3 (Your content and responsibilities)
- You hold the rights to, and are responsible for, the videos, photos, music, voice and captions you import or create and the results you export. We claim no rights in them.
- When you use works of others (music, videos, photos, etc.), you must make sure yourself that you have permission to use them.
- You must not use Localcut to infringe the portrait or privacy rights of others, or to create or distribute content prohibited by law, such as illegally filmed or obscene material. Face mosaic is an aid only; before publishing, you must check that every face is covered.
Article 4 (Storage)
- Projects and copies of imported files are stored only on your device (on the web, in the browser's site storage). They cannot be recovered if you clear site data, uninstall the app, or the browser cleans up storage because the device is low on space.
- The web version automatically deletes copies of originals that have not been used for 14 days. Please keep your original files separately.
- We recommend exporting any work you want to keep as a project file (.localcut) or a video. Localcut never modifies the original files you import.
Article 5 (Limitation of warranty)
Localcut is provided as is. Depending on your device, browser or operating system, some features (video formats, export speed and quality, face tracking, etc.) may behave differently or be unavailable. Except in cases of our intent or negligence, we are not liable for loss of data stored on your device or for damage caused by failed exports.
Article 6 (Open source)
Localcut includes open-source software. The license for each component is listed under Open-source licenses, and those terms prevail over these terms.
Addendum
These terms take effect on October 9, 2026. This is a translation of the Korean original; if they differ, the Korean original prevails. Contact: contact@breyes.net
